Introduction

I live in Frederick MD, and can often do the Hagerstown - Harrisburg run, or go up Rte 15. I belong to OTRA, a couple of other rescue transport groups, JCCARE and LuvAChin. I'm the transport coordinator for LuvAChin. What can I do to help?

Please advise us of any preferences with respect to animal rescue missions. Do you prefer to assist with certain types of animals, certain sizes of animals, one animal at a time, etc.?

I drive a small SUV - have packed 9 24-16 plastic flight crates into at at a time, but this translates to only two med. size dogs, or one large one. Cats in crates are fine. I don't 'do' reptiles, so please confine them closely if the travel with me

Pilots, what are your ratings, flight hours and do you rent or own? What type of plane(s) will you be flying on ARF rescue missions? Please measure your cargo area and note it in your profile. We'll take this into consideration in flight planning.

Do you have certain days of the week that are best for ARF rescue missions? (Weekdays, weekends, days, nights?)

Weekdays are pretty open. Saturdays are harder. Sundays are easier than Saturdays.

Where are you based (airport code)? What distance are you willing to fly/drive when assisting with ARF rescue missions?
