Introduction: My name is Scott Peters and I am an airline pilot for united express, mesa airlines, based in Chicago. I am a huge dog lover and would love to help animals in need.
In what ways can you assist ARF?as Pilot, Planning Assistance, Temporary Home Stays, Ground Transportation?: I am a pilot, and am interested in assisting if you need a pilot to fly a plane.
Where are you based? What distance are you willing to fly/drive when assisting with ARF rescue missions?: I am based in Chicago and I have flight benefits so I can travel anywhere you need.
Do you have certain days of the week that are best for ARF rescue missions? (Weekdays, weekends, days, nights?): I would only be available on days that I do not work, which varies every month.
Pilots, what are your ratings? How many hours do you have? Do you rent or own? What type of plane(s) will you be flying on ARF rescue missions?: I have a single and multi-engine commercial rating, with about 1600 hours. I rent aircraft.
Please advise us of any preferences with respect to animal rescue missions. Do you prefer to assist with certain types of animals, certain sizes of animals, one animal at a time, etc.?: I would prefer cats or dogs- no reptiles please!
