Rock 'n Wings Concert

The St. Petersburg Airfest is putting on a “Rock ‘n Wings Concert,” Saturday, July 4 at Albert Whitted Airport, starring American Idol finalist Amanda Overmyer. Amanda was the Harley riding, Janus Joplin sounding contestant from the 2008 season of American Idol. Also appearing are The Greg Billings Band and Drew Street Mary. The concert will take place on the new terminal ramp from 4 PM to 10 PM (gates open at 3 PM). Tickets are $10.00 for Adults, $5.00 for children 6-12. There are a limited number of VIP tickets available for $25.00, which include food, drinks and a meet and greet session with Amanda Overmyer.

Proceeds will go towards putting on the St. Petersburg Airfest, Oct. 23-25, 2009. Organizers are asking that all air show fans show their support and help insure a 2009 Airfest, by purchasing a ticket to the concert.
