Details

The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) is a great organization that looks out for the interests of pilots. A week from today the President of AOPA Phil Boyer will be in the Chicago area for a Pilot Town Meeting where he will speak to attendees about important issues to general aviaiton pilots.

During this event there will be a special break out section called, Invitation to Fly, which is described in greater detail below.

I plan to attend the event. I would love to meetup with an fellow Chicago Aviation Meetup members that would like to attend the event together. If you are interested in learning to fly I highly recommend coming along and sitting in for the "Invitation to Fly" break out meeting.

RSVP through the site!

Invitation to Fly Break Out Description
Invitation to Fly, a free Project Pilot seminar that will show participants what it takes to learn how to fly. While you visit with Phil, they will hear from an experienced CFI just how easy and fun learning to fly can be, learn the many benefits and conveniences of flying their own airplane, and the thrill of doing what they've always dreamed of doing. They'll be in the air a lot sooner than they think!

The seminar will last about an hour. Qualified adult prospects will receive a special incentive to help them get started with their flight training. The session is fun and informative and informal. And it could change their life.

For details about the Pilot Town Meeting, see AOPA Online. To learn more about AOPA Project Pilot, please visit www.AOPAProjectPilot.org.
