Well, March is wrapping up and April is quickly approaching so it is time to start planning the next Chicago Aviation Meetup Group event. The last two events have taken place at airports (Schaumburg and Lansing). I was thinking of holding the next event in Garmin Store on Michigan Avenue. They have a 30-seat presentation theatre they would be happy to open up to our group.

They have offered to show off their in store version of the G1000 digital display for us. Let me know if you would be interested in meeting up with fellow pilots in the heart of the city and checking out a few Garmin Aviation devices.

If there is interest I will speak with them about dates and times.

This sounds like a great idea. I've heard almost all new Cessna aircraft are shipping with the G1000 even though it is a pricey option. These glass panel displays are the future of aviation.
