How about a classy and fun mids-summer event? This is being "guest organized" by Ed Haddad....


Announcing a Carriage Ride Cookout at the Samson Ranch on July 20!

This is a first for NEPG. Bring your families for a great cookout event at Carol Samson's Ranch in Burnt Hills NY. We will be landing at Schenectady County Airport (KSCH) and ground transportation will be arranged by Ed Haddad and other Albany NEPG members. From there we will go to Carol's horse farm for an afternoon cookout and carriage rides The back deck has a bench longer than some runways. There is a pool off the deck and all are welcome to swim, ride, eat, drink (NON alcoholic of course) and party all day. Ed Haddad is providing hot dogs, burgers, soda, sausage and rolls. Please bring a dish to share (salads, snacks, desserts, etc. - Let us know what you are bringing so we don't wind up with 10 potato salads). email Ed ([masked]) to coordinate your shared plates.

Rumor has it that there may be a surprise visit from BLACK BART, the infamous gunfighter.shock

Shuttle service will be available from 11:00 AM to Noon. Return whenever you are ready to leave but I think this is an event that will keep you there all day.

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PETS HOME AS STRANGE ANIMALS MAY SPOOK THE HORSES.

    I've been to the Horse farm and have met BELLA (a very large Percheron), and Emma (a Morgan) and her daughter Mariah. I've ridden the carriages (and even drove twice). I actually rode Bella and didn't get thrown. This is an event that no one should miss.
