If you are a pilot who has always wanted to participate in a flying safari, now is your chance! Julia, a USA-based pilot, and Henri, a Namibia-based pilot, are co-organizing a flying safari in Namibia and are looking to put together a group of international, like-minded friends to join them. They are looking for about 30 pilots who would seriously consider this trip and want to be part of the planning process via this Meet-up Group. They expect 10 - 12 planes to be available for this flying safari...which means 20 - 25 pilots will ultimately be able to participate on a first-come, first serve basis.
If you would seriously consider a trip like this, join this group! Then reserve June 19 - 30 on your 2009 calendar (that's just 8 days off of work) and put a minimum of $5000 - $7000 aside in savings. Details of the trip will be finalized over the next few months. Commitment will be required by early next year.
Julia, an aviator since 2003, has visited all seven continents and has built a career in the travel industry. Henri was introduced to flying as a young child and is an extremely well-connected aviator in Namibia. They look forward to flying with you in Namibia!
